Job Description

In addition to our various production, logistics and warehouse vacancies, FlexMission is recruiting a motivated Warehouse Associate for one of our clients. You will be working at a new warehouse location in Almere.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing and preparing goods for shipment. You will also help process returned goods and ensure that your work area remains clean, organised and safe.

Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure that orders are processed accurately and that goods are stored and dispatched correctly.

What will you do?

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments and deliveries.
• Check products for quantities, quality, damage and discrepancies.
• Record incoming goods in the computer system and/or using an RF scanner.
• Store and move goods to the correct warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, weigh and prepare orders for shipment.
• Prepare, label and load outgoing shipments.
• Process and inspect returned goods in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with light assembly work and cutting cables to the required length.
• Identify and report shortages, damaged goods and other discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse and your work area clean, organised and safe.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and quality standards.

Job requirements

• You have completed at least a secondary school education or equivalent.
• You can follow instructions and work accurately.
• You are a team player and enjoy working with colleagues.
• You are physically fit and comfortable with walking, bending and lifting goods throughout the day.
• You are willing to operate warehouse equipment and obtain a forklift certificate if required.
• You have sufficient English language skills to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues.
• Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills are an advantage.
